Join our 2-Day and 3-Day Summer Kid’s Camps designed for ages 10+
Young artists dive into the exciting worlds of printmaking and oil painting. From carving and layering prints to exploring rich, vibrant paint techniques, students will create artwork they’re proud of while building real artistic skills.

Youth Oil Painting Classes

March, April, More+ Afterschool Classes
This beginner-friendly class introduces students to the basics of oil painting, including color mixing, brush techniques, and working from reference images. Through guided projects, students will explore composition and develop confidence in their creative process. No prior experience required. Students will complete a finished oil painting and build a strong foundation for future study.
Materials are provided by the studio. For Youth Ages 10+

Adult Oil Painting Classes

Work from a carefully curated still lifes and beyond, while learning composition and traditional oil painting techniques on canvas. In this small, group-style class, you’ll explore intuitive painting, deepen your creative voice, and engage in thoughtful, connective conversations around your work.
Materials are provided by the studio. For ages 18+

Our mission at Madison Cowan Studio is to make art and provide equitable access to the arts for individuals with physical and cognitive exceptionalities - including those living with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and learning differences.

We offer private commissions, arts education, and the Plein Air Club, alongside instruction in drawing, oil painting, printmaking, and other creative resources - building community, fostering creativity, and making art accessible to all abilities.
