If you weren’t already informed by the thrill of the heist, the Louvre recently underwent an involuntary and dramatic inventory downsize. One the morning of October 19 in under 10 minutes, four individuals ingeniously made their way into the multi story Paris museum and exited with over $100 million worth of royal jewels - still missing to this day. Paris officials currently have 3 of the 4 primary suspects and official motives have yet to be published to the public. However there are more individuals the police are investigating. The New York Times has more.
What could you do productively in under 10 minutes?
Things warmed up at Three Door Studios last week. Our sign was lit on fire by a group of artists that plan to take over!
Join us Friday, November 7 6:00-10:00pm for a major art event in downtown, Art Heist. Over 100+ artists and over 40 businesses are participating in the annual Art Heist celebration on the first Friday of November! Come enjoy art in our back garden, fire pits, sweet treats, and good company! Bring your friends and do the downtown crawl to explore what our creative community has taken over. This is a celebration of partnerships between the creative and small business community. Great things happen in our city when we celebrate the arts.
Handmade Holiday is here! Grab a last minute ticket for this 4 day series or enjoy a single day use with artists from Three Door Studios. Create festive cards and tags with Emily, Photo Transfer hand embroidery with Amanda, and Hand Painted ornaments with me!
